Making homemade Almond Milk is super easy and better for you because there are no extra suspicious ingredients (such as carrageenan, which is actually harmful to our health – read more about carrageenan here).

Homemade Almond Milk

1 cup whole raw almonds, soaked overnight; drain and rinse (yields 1 1/2 cups)

2 1/2 cups filtered water

1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla (optional)

Blend in a Vitamix, Blendtec or high powered blender, and strain through nut milk bag or cheesecloth.

Optional Add-Ins:

Stevia or Honey
